Download Book of Proceedings (Free Access)

As at previous conferences, a book of Proceedings of the Ultrafast Phenomena XVIII will be published. Authors of all accepted contributions (invited, oral and poster) are invited to submit a paper for the book of Proceedings. We anticipate the latter to contain around 400 articles of 3 pages each. The Proceedings will be published by EDP Sciences ‐ Web of Conferences (www.webofconferences.org), on-line with open access as well as a black and white hard copy, which will be sent to each conference participant.

Rules: All papers must follow the same format and style to meet the conditions for publication.
These conditions are set by EPJ Web of Conferences to allow for a uniform appearance within the final volume.

The deadline to submit is 10:00 pm, July 17th - GMT+1, Lausanne local time.

The articles need to be submitted via an on line system. Submit

Conditions to follow in order to submit your paper:

-> The author needs to have an accepted oral or poster contribution at the UP 2012 Conference.

-> The paper can only be sent using the on line system to open soon.

-> The paper is to be no more than 3 pages long including all text, figures, and references.

-> The article needs to be sent according to the EPJ template (170 x 250 mm paper size, one column - format of the book).
 

Preparing papers

We recommend that authors use the EPJ Web of Conferences Microsoft Word or LaTeX2e guidelines and templates to prepare their documents (see below). Please follow carefully the instructions.

Extra care should be taken when preparing reference lists. Indeed, online references will be linked to their original source, only if possible.

Document to be supplied:

• Format: 170 x 250 mm paper size, one column. Download word template.
• Type of file to be submitted: print-ready PDF in the final format.
• Short title of the conference to be inserted in the heading.

Remark: colours can be used for the images but the authors need to make a good contrast between them as the hard copy will be printed in black and white. Authors shall not refer to the colours in the figure caption and the text. So instead of "the red line shows ...., the green line ...", authors need to phrase it like "the solid line shows ..., the dotted line ..".

Copyright on any article in EPJ Web of Conferences is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons Attribution license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

License agreement to be returned

Authors grant EDP Sciences a license to publish the article and identify EDP Sciences as the original publisher.

Authors also grant any third party the right to use, distribute and reproduce the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
